Our latest newsletter was all about a food tour like no other in the Latin Quarter

Julien, together with members of the team, Sabrina, Anissa, and Sara, got to explore one of our favorite, often overlooked Parisian places: the Latin Quarter, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement.

A neighborhood many travelers pass through without ever truly discovering. Between the Panthéon, the Sorbonne, medieval streets, and tiny cafés, this is a more intellectual, local, authentic side of Paris, and honestly, fascinating for repeat visitors.

We often say that food is one of the best ways to discover a destination. But in Paris, it’s much more than that: it’s history, culture, conversation, rituals, architecture, and art de vivre all at once.

And this is where Fred comes in.

Chef, foodie, historian, storyteller… turning every moment into something more. The baguette becomes a history lesson, cheese a geography class, a simple ingredient leading back to Louis XIV’s court. With him, every stop unfolds into something deeper.

But to top it off, unlike most food tours, this one ends inside an actual culinary and very Parisian workshop.

There’s a side of Provence most travelers overlook,wild, authentic, and unlike anywhere else in France.

Just beyond the lavender fields lies Camargue, one of Europe’s last great wetlands, a vast alluvial plain home to nearly 400 bird species, pink flamingos, iconic black bulls, and white horses born dark before turning brilliantly white.

Inside the Roman arena of Arles, we witnessed its soul during Saint George’s celebration (held every May 1st): proud Gardians, elegant Amazones in traditional dresses, breathtaking horsemanship, and the unique Course Camarguaise, where daring athletes race to snatch the cocarde from a bull’s horns, without harming the animal.

Raw, timeless, deeply rooted, Provence doesn’t get more authentic than this.

From hidden passages and secret courtyards in Le Marais to cozy French lunches `chez Julien`, Paris revealed unexpected corners and experiences at every turn. Luxury and fun flowed seamlessly; it was champagne and laughter aboard a 15-meter elegant yacht gliding along the Seine at golden hour, with the city glowing all around.

Even the Eiffel Tower surprised us: deep below, in the underground hydraulic room, the century-old elevator machines still quietly operate, a fascinating glimpse into history. On the VIP ride to the summit, our guide even broke into an Edith Piaf song, goosebumps guaranteed. Every moment was curated for our most discerning guests capturing both history and style.

The trip ended on a perfect note at La Fontaine de Mars, celebrating Franco-American friendship with good food, laughter, and maybe one last toast to Paris. 🇨🇵 ❤️ 🇺🇸
